Centro Studi Berlin89
The Centro Studi Berlin89 is an association founded in 2018, on the eve of the celebrations of the thirtieth anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, Die Berliner Mauer, who divided the German capital for 28 years: from 13 August 1961 to 9 November 1989 .
Primary purpose and objective of the Centro Studi Berlin89 is to conduct a wide-ranging reflection - on the principles of international law, and the continuous evolution of international relations - on the effects after the fall of the Globalization Wall on States, their sovereignty and the different models of society, with attention to the effects on the European and local level.
The Centro Studi Berlin89 analyzes the profound and rapid changes brought about by the process of globalization, and aims to promote the achievement of increased general well-being, respect for human rights and the spread of universal values of civilization.
The Centro Studi Berlin89 focuses on the Wall, which is still topical, regarding the problems of the 21st century. In fact, the dramatic experiences that have formed around it, before and after its collapse, can be considered a stimulus to promote the achievement of a socio-economic balance that seems necessary to reduce disparities and conflicts. This aim is pursued above all through cultural and economic research with special attention to Germany, its history and its evolution.
